Raison d'être
Hitching a smile as worlds collide,
Where temptation spares the desire
Within a unilateral mind,
Cascading impulse without logic
Gambling reason with a grin
Nothing more,
Nor none the less
Just improvisation during this passage,
For some spiritual rest...
Upon a Sunday morning,
Upon this universe
Taming providence and the age-old quest,
For knowing why
To unfold each day,
With the balance of knowledge
And wisdom of the soul,
Questioning all with a sense of comfort,
More so, challenging our best.
