Wrote this after listening to Charles Eisenstein speak; Like him, I walk along the edge of tomorrow & often feel so alone. I clutch at dreams awaiting reality. I love you humans who care and grieve for all impacted by those who can't see.

I often feel so overwhelmed by the insanity of humanity plodding over our earth. It's a lonely place, a little sanctuary from the rush of our species, plunging so fast we don't even realize what we are doing. I am so grateful that modern connective tissues are allowing new linkages and bonds between those of us on the edge... I ended up in tears part way thru this song...in both gratitude to all of you who care and in sorrow for those who cannot see...
I am an edgeworker, far from the center,
rejecting worn out models, patterns, habits wrapped in pain,
I'm an edgework, far from the present...
Thinking past the current condition, seeking to get through
giving up all the trappings locks and chains that spread the same,
working on the ledge to birth a world anew...
I'm an edge worker... what about you?
There's so much to see, there's so much to feel
beyond what we know, the mystery is real
intricate webs of life energies flow
I'm part of a network of which I don't know
but I feel in my heart and it rings to the core
all the wonders and essences that we ignore
are the underlying forces at play
the cosmic reality ruling the day
and I'll strive towards a knowing a touching a feeling
just thinking about it sends me a reeling
so I'm going beyond and I'm starting anew
on the edge of tomorrow I'll try to make true,
I'm an edge worker, tending the field
an edge worker, raising the shield
invisible tangles are pulling me through to
the edge of tomorrow, what about you?
